Have you ever heard of a baby moon to Italy? Sounds incredible, right?! Luiza and Kirk decided to go big for their baby moon and started in Venice moving on to Rome and ending the trip in Capri. They wanted to make the most of their vacation and it was truly one to remember. What a dreamy way to celebrate those last few months before you welcome your first born!
They had decided to wait until birth to find out the gender of their babe, but reality had different plans. In a routine call from their Dr. he accidentally let it slip they were having a little baby girl. What might have seemed like a bad mishap was really a blessing in disguise. It made the pregnancy a little sweeter for them knowing they were welcoming a baby girl into the world. Luiza said they especially enjoyed prepping her nursery and picking out cute outfits for her. It felt more personal being able to pick out specific items just for Jojo.
They got to experience a healthy, fun pregnancy with her and loved the process. Their favorite part of being pregnant with sweet their Jojo was nesting, getting to feel her little kicks and stretches, and the constant hiccups. There is absolutely nothing sweeter than newborn baby hiccups, so inside the womb that must have been incredibly sweet for them to feel.
Luiza and Kirk had the most romantic maternity session at the Waterworks in Philadelphia, PA. not only did they look amazing, but these two are so in love and were radiating joy at the thought of being parents. All of these things shined through in their maternity session celebrating the incredible journey they were on. They even brought along their adorable pup, Ted, who stole the show! He even wore the most dapper little bowtie!
The Waterworks here in Philadelphia was the perfect spot for their maternity session! I had a blast exploring the are with them and they got amazing photos with a ton of variety. Just wait until you see the Philadelphia skyline showing off for them! It was magical. I can’t wait to see where parenthood takes these sweet people! They are going to be the most amazing parents!
