Giuli and Matt had the most breathtaking Newport Rhode Island engagement photos at The Cliff Walk. We not only explored the gorgeous Newport Cliff Walk but Giuli and Matt went all out even to rent out a sailboat for their Newport engagement photos. It was one of the most intentional and fun engagement sessions I have ever photographed. Meaning I just had to share it on the blog!

Giuli had done a quick outfit change into this floral dress. It really gave off those ocean feels that we were going for and was much more casual than her first dress. We were able to find a rather secluded rocky spot for us to continue taking their engagement photos. The water was splashing and these two were not afraid to get a little dirty. That’s often how these sessions turn out sometimes though! You end up having to roll with the punches, but you know what? That’s totally fine! Whenever I work with my couples, I make sure to talk about your wants & needs. Not only that but also what you feel comfortable with doing during your session. We never do anything you’re not comfortable with, so I always encourage communication with not only me but ANY photographer you work with.
As many of you may know before I started focusing on weddings & couples I was a fashion photographer. I like to think that my style of photography has a fashion flair to it. This is why throughout these images you may see some more unique posing. That’s with intention! It wasn’t long until the sun started going down and we began getting just a bit chilly…remember we are in New England! We packed up our belongings and I scurried home to cull & edit away at such a beautiful engagement session. It was such an honor to be there to capture such chemistry in front of my camera and well… see for yourself.
