It was everything that both Kelly and David wanted and it was just perfect.

The Avalon Yacht Club is a jaw-dropping country club New Jersey wedding venue in Avalon, NJ. Alongside the property, you will find the Avalon Yacht Club sits alongside the Intracoastal Waterway. This offers couples panoramic water views that make for some stunning wedding portraits. Watch the golden sunsets as you and your partner walk hand in hand along the small beach alongside this NJ wedding venue. This premier wedding venue allows couples to have the versatility to turn this space into whatever they want and what their heart desires for their wedding day. It’s because of this, their amazing amenities, and the stunning views that many couples choose to have an Avalon Yacht Club wedding.

Avalon Yacht Club Wedding Cost

One of the great things about having an Avalon Yacht Club wedding is that their wedding collection pricing is entirely dependent on your guest list. Keep in mind that the current guest capacity at the Avalon Yacht Club is 230 guests. Having a wedding at this New Jersey wedding venue will also depend on what time of year you want to tie the knot. In order to reserve your wedding date, you will need to pay a non-refundable $3,000. Following that initial deposit, you will need to pay per guest as this also includes their catered meal for your wedding. Costs per guest range from $75pp to $175pp depending on the day and time of year.

Kelly and David’s Avalon Yacht Club Wedding in Coastal, NJ

Avalon Yacht Club is one that I am no stranger to. I photographed a dear friend and her now husband’s wedding at the Avalon Yacht Club and it was just as beautiful as I remembered. You can check out that blog here! Since it had been a while since my last Avalon Yacht Club wedding, I was excited to get back to this gorgeous venue for Kelly and David’s special day. Kelly and David had already chosen the Avalon Yacht Club before they were engaged. Having been there once before for another wedding, they knew immediately that they wanted to get married there. Fast forward, after getting engaged they toured several different venues but knew that Avalon had their heart.

Getting Ready & Ceremony

The morning started off very peaceful while Kelly and her girls were getting ready at her parent’s beach house. It was food galore and the perfect setting for Kelly to just spend some time with her family and friends before heading to the church for the ceremony. Kelly and David chose to keep things traditional and wait until the ceremony to see each other for the first time. In a traditional church ceremony at Maris Stella Church in Avalon, NJ, Kelly and David were united for a touching and intimate ceremony. Kelly looked absolutely stunning in her La Belle Mariee Bridal mermaid dress. It fit her and complimented her beautifully and was an absolute princess dream moment. Throughout the whole ceremony, there was nothing but an outpouring of love for the two of them. It really showed in all of the teary-eyed guests that were sitting in the crowd watching.

Portraits & Reception

Following the ceremony, we headed to the Avalon Yacht Club for some bridal party portraits. While the beach was a bit too buggy (a typical Summer expectation) the dunes at the venue were still just as beautiful. A standout feature of the Avalon Yacht Club of course is the breathtaking sunset, so as soon as that happened I stole Kelly and David away for a few minutes. Definitely a highlight feature for both me and them and these photos are some of my favorites throughout the entire day.

The rest of the night was spent dancing the night away and watching as Kelly and David soak in this new chapter. Watching them spend their time with all of their friends and family brings joy to my heart and reminds me why I love doing what I do so much.
