There is something so special about documenting a family member’s special day. It brings a certain level of joy that reminds me why being a Philadelphia/New Jersey wedding photographer is so fulfilling and special. My step-niece, Dani, and her now husband, Jake, tied the knot in this gorgeous Elegant Chic wedding at Linwood Country Club. Two years of planning all came to fruition in 24 hours and it was the most breathtaking day you could have ever imagined.

Dani & Jake | A Love Story

They began dating in high school after Jake asked Dani to her Senior prom. Following their graduation they made the difficult decision to embrace a long-distance relationship. While Dani attended school in Rhode Island and Jake in South Carolina, the two flourished for four years. This experience made their relationship grow even stronger and they appreciated the time they spent together. Fast forward several years into their relationship Jake would pop the question at their favorite beach spot. Not only is this where they spend the majority of their Summer together but it holds significance to their relationship. Making it really the only obvious choice for their engagement. For the past two years, Dani and Jake have been planning their dream wedding and I was honored to be considered to photograph it.

The Linwood Country Club was established back in 1920 and is a celebratory wedding venue for couples all throughout PA and NJ. This New Jersey wedding venue offers picturesque views of its manicured golf course and Atlantic City skyline. Linwood Country Club wishes to maintain the integrity of the property, which is why taking pride in the appearance of this NJ wedding venue is surely important. This gorgeous Country Club offers a few options for ceremony spaces, giving couples plenty of options. Their Grand Ballroom at a whopping 5,500 square feet also can hold up to 300 guests, making it perfect for a larger wedding celebration. Dani & Jake’s Elegant Chic Wedding at Linwood Country Club

The Linwood Country Club was the perfect wedding venue for Dani and Jake. Immediately they knew that this was their space for their wedding. Not only were they floured with the getting-ready space, but with the help of their on-site coordinators, it made the wedding planning process so much easier. From the beginning, their entire day was pure and utter bliss. Dani and Jake chose to have a neutral color palette where the bridesmaids wore champagne satin dresses from Birdy Grey. In a gorgeous outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course, Dani and Jake made their vows to one another. They even did a traditional Jewish breaking of the glass to seal the deal. The remainder of the night was spent dancing our socks off, enjoying the company of loved ones, and of course… stealing a few of the Simply Sweet Cupcakes.
