Duportail House Wedding in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania

Weddings

There are some places that bring back a certain type of nostalgia. In this case, Duportail House is one of them. Amy and Chris had a beautiful Duportail House wedding in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania and the amount of beauty that went into this wedding day is absolutely unreal. I am forever grateful to have been a part of such a wonderful day and getting to document these memories.

Duportail House | Pennsylvania Wedding Venue

Duportail House is a historic 1740s farmhouse that has been restored to be a hidden gem Pennsylvania wedding venue. It sits on the outskirts of Valley Forge National Park, another location that I absolutely love shooting at. Duportail House is on three acres of stunningly landscaped grounds that make for a beautiful setting for your Pennsylvania wedding. Surrounding you are towering trees and luscious lawns that are perfect for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Fun fact, I grew up near Duportail House and use to play around the venue growing up. That was a while ago when this Pennsylvania wedding venue wasn’t even established yet but oh… the memories.

When you choose to have your wedding at Duportail House, you have access to the first floor of the home, the second-floor sitting room as well as the grounds. Not only does Duportail House offer beautiful scenery that makes for amazing photo backdrops. They also offer some amazing amenities for their couples. Some of these amenities include:

  • Indoor & Outdoor Spaces Available
  • Event Planner
  • Getting Ready Spaces
  • Pet-Friendly Grounds
  • Table & Chair Rentals
  • Dance Floor Provided
  • Tent & Tent Accessories
  • Parking & Valet Parking Available
  • ADA Accessibility

Duportail House Wedding in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania

This Pennsylvania wedding venue was the perfect location for Amy and Chris to get married. It boasts a perfect blend of those rustic romantic feels that I think were perfect for what Amy and Chris were looking for on their wedding day.

The morning was spent with the girls getting ready, taking a few detail photos, and drinking a few mimosas to get the day started. Don’t worry, I’m on the clock so no mimosas for me! This wedding day morning really is the time to soak in the moment, and take things as slow as you can. I mean, after all, you’re getting married here!

Amy and Chris kept their color palette fairly in tune with the gorgeous Fall tones that surrounded us. With creamsicle shade florals and greenery, it made for the perfect Fall touch which I loved. The weather for their Duportail House wedding was phenomenal so utilizing the outdoor Fall foliage to our advantage was a need. We wandered throughout the grounds soaking up every minute. We were then joined by the wedding party which sported forest green bridesmaids’ dresses by Radiant Rooster and matching Groomsmen ties from Men’s Wearhouse.

In a beautiful outdoor ceremony, Amy & Chris exchanged their vows and celebrated with a LOT of confetti as Mr. and Mrs. Surrounded by their close family and friends, Amy and Chris celebrated their love story with some delicious cake, busting a few moves on the dance floor and drinking some of their specially dedicated drinks aka The Fizzy Izzy and The Bark & Stormy.

Cheers to Amy & Chris!
